Comfort Hotel Nagoya Shinkansenguchi

Very accommodating, i requested for bed rail since we are co-sleeping and when we arrived they already installed it. Very clean and location is good. Free breakfast is a plus. Beds were wider and room more spacious than other hotels.

we were charged when we checked out at 1020 :( i didnt know we were supposed to check out 10am sharp and i thought anytime before 11am was check out time :(

We have a quick stop in Nagoya and try to find the best value hotel before catching the train in the next morning. From station we went to the hotel to drop the back and back to the station to find some food. There are plenty of food option nearby. We also shopping at Big Camera there.Hotel gave some restaurant suggestions and we like it.

Super friendly staff and amazing free breakfast and common area.

It was my fist time staying at a Comfort Inn and I liked it more than APA, which has been my preferred chain. I will now look for Comfort Inns.

Room was pretty comfortable and clean. Location was very good, close to the train station.

Breakfast could be better but I think is fair enough since is for "free".

This is a standard 3 star hotel with basic rooms. Our group reserved 4 rooms, they were all clean with comfortable beds. The staffs were very helpful though many of them do not speak English but used the translation App, they were efficient & willing give the best services. Location is good, 5 min walk from the Shinkansen exit, quiet, walking passed a large Bic Camera store to hotel is easy.The staffs were considerate to arrange two rooms each at the opposite & on the same floor. That was very convenient for group travel, thank you. I forgot a package at the hotel, they were so kind to send it to my later hotel - cash on delivery. Again, thank you.Breakfast is good (Western & Japanese.) They also provide complimentary tea and coffee from the machine all day.

We were given only one small pillow for each bed, one has to rent if you need more. The coffee machine worked rather slowly, long queue.

Close to the station and shopping areas and the restaurants. The staff is very friendly and free breakfast is of a great value with both western style and Japanese style.

I had to ask the front to clean the mirror in the bathroom as the clean up crew neglected the first couple of days.

This was a well-priced business hotel close to Nagoya station. It was very easy hopping onto the shinkansen, JR lines and local subways to other destinations in Nagoya. The surrounding area had a plethora of walkable malls, shopping streets, and underground eateries. So much to do close by. Two Family Marts close by, just a minute away on foot. The staff were very friendly and professional. The free breakfast was good, and a diligent staff was always present to greet us, help our family of 3 find a table, and replenish food items.

This is a business hotel, so the fridge was on the small side, and there was no kitchenette/sink. The washer and dryer cost 500 yen to operate (with included detergent). There are only 3 in the entire hotel, so you have to be strategic about when you use it. Inconsiderate guests would leave their laundry in the machines overnight, and they could not be used in the morning unless you notify the front desk. But that's not the hotel's fault.

Breakfast was good & suffice to meet our needs. The location of the hotel in this side of town offer quieter street even though it's a main street. Lesser traffic, The Universal room was good, large and bathroom is bigger with sliding door.

Location : need to walk on uneven sidewalk and tough especially with heavy luggage. Nothing much can be done as it seems a number of popular hotels are around this area.

The hotel is just a couple of steps of the main train station. Around there are a variety of restaurants ( Nepalis, Italian, Japanese. The personnel are very friendly and quite helpful and speak good English. The breakfast was good and tasty. The beds are very confi and the rooms big enough for 2 adults and 2 children. definitely will come back.

Very friendly staff. The hotel has a library lounge room, where breakfast is served and there are books around. It is possible to sit and have a coffee or drink while reading or working with a computer.

I like the size of the room . I like the air conditioner. Breakfast was ok . Service is good .

The rooms need more vacuuming . The pillows were very hard . Breakfast food needs upgrading .

Rooms are tiny and air-conditioning only set to heating as it is centrally controlled.We requested a room with opening windows for cool air.Staff were great and facilities spotless.

The hotel is conveniently located near Nagoya Station, Lawson, BIC and lots of restaurants. Staff was helpful. Loved that breakfast is complimentary and coffee is available at anytime. Room is relatively bigger too. The other hotels biggest room was under 20sqm but our room was 23 sqm, which was wonderful. Loved also that they provided sleepwear.

There was just one time that a staff could not help us because he doesn’t understand English. And one minor thing, it is best to clean the top of the cabinet because when I was getting our things…saw a used mask and a a almost opened bag of candy.
